The Hallgarten Franchetti Centro Studi Villa Montesca Foundation (FCSVM) is internationally renowned for top quality research and training in European research and cooperation, design of innovative education and training methods and approaches, Cultural and social promotion, information technology and communication, new combinations of didactics and technology, education for European integration and cooperation in the field of education at local, regional, and European level. By Villa Montesca, in 1909 Maria Montessori organized the seminar that gave birth to the first publication of the scientific pedagogic method universally known as the ‘Montessori Method’. The aim of the Foundation activities is to help establish an efficient educational system which can help to overcome the barriers to education, speed up the recognition of learning outcomes achieved in formal, informal, and non-formal approaches to encourage an active participation in the learning process also by those people who, owing to marginalization, may be excluded from it. One of the main achievements pursued is to enhance and promote a holistic and flexible approach to education, sustaining the different actors of the Educating Community in their effort to make education inclusive and democratic.

GALE promotes the full inclusion of people who are disadvantaged because of their sexual orientation, sexual identity and their expression by identifying, enhancing and sharing educational expertise. It is a global network of educators dedicated to this goal and a supporting foundation supporting educators through cooperation partnerships.

GALE is the inventor of the My-ID educational method. Originating as a method to integrate LGBTIQ+ issues in schools, it has been broadened to become an effective way to integrate diversity, tolerance and emotional intelligence in education. This involves a deeper approach of learning of diversity, empathy and peaceful communication and action for both students and educators.

CESIE is a European Centre of Studies and Initiatives based in Palermo, Sicily. It was established in 2001, inspired by the work and theories of the sociologist, activist and educator Danilo Dolci (1924-1997).

Centre d’Estudis Jaume Viladoms – Spain

The Jaume Viladoms school was established as a cooperative of teachers which was largely formed by Jaume Viladoms’ students. In 1984-85 the Obligatory Education for teenagers from 12 to 16 was introduced, and the school decided to join it, given its experience and its educational profile. The ‘Jaume Viladoms School’ was one of the four private centres that started this educational system up in Catalonia.

In 1991, the centre the “Continuous Training Department” was created to offer a new alternative education and is for this reason that it collaborates with the Department of Labour.
